Skeet (J. Matthew Pilger) entered the scene & began DJing in 1992. He was the understudy of DJ Sprout (Jordan Coopersmith) & was influenced by early NASA, Satellite, &; upstate New York raves as well as NYC club weeklies like Disco 2000. He also founded indie record label ENTROPIKA in his early years at the University of New Haven with label partner DJ Russ Urban. Skeet was then recruited for the upstate New York company ACME/Central Groove and represented them until they later dissolved.Skeet graduated from UNH in 1996 with a BA in music & Sound Engineering. He also began producing DJ tracks that same year. Skeet was also 1 of 4 DJ's to play at 'Perpetual Vibe', the infamous Translucent party at the Newburgh Skate Park in the fall of 1997 which was raided and featured on a segment of ABC's weekly documentary broadcast 20/20. He later sampled that broadcast and created '20/20 Translation' in Entropika Studios, then out of Walden, upstate New York. The track was played by various large caliber-high profile DJ's mainly in the late '90s. Throughout his career, he's played in many parts of the U.S., Italy, Canada, Netherlands; Germany and he still continues to play records and remix tracks for the masses to this day.
