More Info

As the buzz cloud emanating from Stranjjur's debut release by Lula Circus continues to rotate in the stratosphere surrounding Brooklyn; the fledgling new imprint now shakes the dust from it's boots and reloads it's weaponry with new ammunition; this time heading back to Italy to enlist the services of the label's next future star; Andrew Soul. To comprise the Switching Positions EP, Andrew has turned in a brilliant quartet of original compositions; -- each different from the next -- yet all sharing three distinct qualities: deep analog bass lines, carefully-programmed drum machine action, and an immeasurable amount of heart and soul. The EP starts off with 'Close To You'; a unique bass-driven modern-funk jam that will shake any sound system to it's core. 'Close to You' shows us Andrew's affinity for deep and powerful low end grooves. Andrew's amazing ability to construct highly addictive grooves is on full display in 'Do That Again'; a cheeky, sex-driven deep slice of house music that is sure to moisten many dance floors and serve as the wing-man that will fuel many wild and crazy nights, both on and off the dance floor if you catch our drift. As one of the industry's most outspoken and colorful characters, one couldn't possibly think of a more fitting artist to remix a tune as racey and explicit as 'Do That Again'. The results speak for themselves, as you're eagerly invited to get your freak on in various positions. Whether you're on top, behind, on the bottom, or hanging from the ceiling fan... we know you'll be doing two things for certain: shaking your ass and getting your Wadsworth. Saturday Love Night takes things deep and Baldo turns in an absolutely smashing peak-driven remix which is sure to crush all sound systems in it's path.
